19th Birthday Ideas - Part 1

I finally have an Iphone (woohoo), which I am so excited about. It means that it is easier for me to take ootd images and to create/edit funky images like the ones below.

So,
My 19th birthday is coming up in November! (15th to be exact) Which is so exciting, although I don't feel 19, nor do I act it.

This post is one of a three part, they are in no particular order and I know I will not be receiving all from my family, if any at all of the specified, but I love these types of posts on other blogs and thought I would do myself.

So my first moodboard for my birthday.

  • I adore this scarf from Zara! At just £19.99 I think it is beautiful, the colours are so autumnal and wintry and will look fabulous with my Khaki Parker and this is an item that my Mum is aware of... ha!
  • Mum and I both love scarfs, she is the one who always told me that if your neck/chest is covered the rest of your body will more than likely be/stay warm. This trick has not failed me once, so take it on board!
  • The next item is "Bloom Kimono" from Topshop (£45). Kimono's have been a massive hit so far in the late Summer/Autumn trends and this one particularly caught my eye as Winter seems to send me down a "dark" clothing line with many blacks and deep blues which wash out my skin tone.
  • Kimono's however definitely need to be layered on top of so If you don't feel like you have the money for a Kimono, save it and purchase a beautiful knitted cardi to keep you warm but still looking stylish!
  • Shoes, what girl doesn't love shoes? Boots are a fashion essential for Winter and I have yet to purchase a pair of boots for this year! These cute, little black ankle boots - "Milly Metal Insert Boots" are £68 from Oasis.
  • Boots are also brilliant for the British weather, ballet pumps and canvas shoes (converse or vans) are not good in the rain. Nor would I advise wearing Uggs in the rain, it ruins them. Therefore boots are perfect!
  • I have a weakness for Shirts and blouses. Polka dot seems to be a trend that doesn't necessarily "go out" of fashion, or if it does it soon comes back around and is worth holding onto.
  • This shirt is short but not cropped, it is a beautiful baby blue colour and could be worn on a night out or for a general day trip. It is £32 from Topshop and in store it was paired with a short chunky gold chain to glam it up a little.

Hope you have enjoyed this style of post. Let me know if you have and look out for post 2 and 3.
Love Becks ♥
